LEAs addressing significant disproportionality will complete all activities with the guidance of a Technical Assistance provider and close CDE supervision. The Technical Assistance (TA) provider for Intensive Level LEAs addressing significant disproportionality is the State Performance Plan Technical Assistance Project (SPP-TAP). Visit the SPP-TAP website for:

Assurances and Prerequisites

While significant disproportionality is identified through Special Education data, the improvement processes are primarily situated within General Education. This Activity Handout, and the related links, will provide LEA Leadership with a general overview of the Compliance and Improvement Monitoring (CIM) process and requirements, including the key role of the superintendent and other general education leaders in addressing significant disproportionality.
