Root Cause Analysis Plan

At the end of CIM Step 1, LEA’s have identified several overall areas of strength and weakness based on their data analysis. As they transition to Step 2, LEAs will prioritize the areas of weakness and select one area to conduct a root cause analysis on. LEA teams may use this Root Cause Analysis Investigation Plan to help them structure a thorough root cause analysis process during CIM Step 2. LEAs are encouraged to utilize the Root Cause Analysis Inquiry Guide to help identify key questions and methods to include in this plan.
